Author and native Californian Jerry Stroud is a past assistant winemaker for St Francis Winery in Kenwood during its boutique days who has also written screenplays that have gained the attention of Energy Entertainment and Penn Station Entertainment. “In the North Coast chapter Jerry tells the story about the Judgment of Paris award in 1976 that put California wine on the world stage,” says Young. “Jerry dug up some interesting facts that have not been shared before.”
Kerne Erickson is a full-time freelance artist. He resides in Southern California and over the past thirty-three years has built a reputation as one of the most talented painters from this region. The pictorial images he has chosen to paint are visually engaging and often capture a feeling of time and place His artworks are known for their clarity of color and crisp delineation of pictorial images. Erikson has been honored with top awards from Watercolor USA and has been selected to show in many other recognized annual art exhibitions including those sponsored by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society, Art For The Parks, and the California Art Club.
