Calistoga AVA Giclée Poster Print on Paper or Canvas

This giclee print by artist kerne Erickson depicts the road leading out from Castello di Amorosa Winery in the Calistoga AVA of the Napa Valley AVA, located in the much larger North Coast AVA. The Calistoga AVA established in 2010 has over 24 wineries. Its soils are uniform throughout this AVA due to it being underlain by volcanic bedrock and sediments. Uniform soils throughout the region enable growers to control vine quality and produce consistent flavors and characteristics within small vineyard blocks. Calistoga AVA having an extreme diurnal swing in temperature from daytime to night time is very beneficial for the grapes which can cool at night after a warm day, allowing for more acid retention; better overnight recovery, thus better balanced wines.

Some of the vineyards & wineries here include: Araujo Estate Wines, Harris Estate Vineyards, Kelly Fleming Vineyard, Barlow Vineyards, Peterson Family Vineyard, Envy, Palisades Vineyard, Summers Estate, Kenefick Ranch, Clos pegase, Barcini Vineyard, Larkmead Vineyards, Grgich Hills, Cakebread, Azalea Springs Vineyards, Bear Flag, Homage Vineyard, Tristant Vineyards, Chateau Montelana, Jericho Canyon Vineyard, Bella Vista Vineyard, Ballentine Vineyards, Dutch Henry, Terra Testa Vines, Blair Estate Vineyard, Sarafornia Cellars, Towne Vineyards, Mitchel Vineyards, Valley Floor Vineyard, Madrigal, The Grade – Winfield Vineyard, Tofanelli Vineyard, Three Palms Vineyard, Bingham Ranch and Sterling Vineyards.

*Please note: The paper print dimensions include a .25" border on all 4 sides within the final size of the print. The canvas prints have an additional 1.875" canvas border on all 4 sides for stretching. The watermark on the thumbnail will not be on the final print.
